1. What is Rotaract?

Rotaract Clubs offer 18+ year-olds opportunities for personal growth through service. The Rotaract motto is “Help, learn, enjoy”: members help those in need; learn through professional development opportunities; and enjoy social activities. There are opportunities for Club Service, Community Service, International Service and Professional/Personal Development. Rotaract clubs work closely with their sponsoring Rotary Clubs.

2. Rotaract Australia

Rotaract Australia is a multidistrict information organisation (MDIO). It functions as a resource centre for Rotaractors, providing support and services in the form of publications, resources and contacts. There are 20 other Rotaract MDIOs worldwide, and each one unites clubs and districts within a particular region.
Visit the Rotaract Australia website at https://rotaract.org.au/

3. Rotaract District 9810

District 9810 is lucky enough to have 4 Rotaract Clubs, located primarily in the East and South-East of Melbourne with clubs in Monash, Manningham, Whitehorse and Knox. The Rotaract Club of Yarra Ranges has ceased operating from 1 July 2021, for any enquires contact the District Rotaract Chair.

Rotaract has three primary focus areas of:
  • Help - Community volunteering & fundraising
  • Learn - Personal & professional development
  • Enjoy - Team Building

Rotaractors are young, enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about making a difference, creating opportunities to grow and learn leadership skills and while contributing to a global effort to do good things with other like-minded people.
