The recognition of Anzac Day by young people in our community is vitally important. The year 2015 is the 100th anniversary of the Gallipoli campaign and it is the objective of all the Melbourne and Victorian Rotary districts to have an annual students' Anzac Day service in every municipality in Victoria by Anzac Day 25th April 2015. In order to achieve this objective, it is important for some or all of the Rotary clubs within each municipality to get together to approach their local schools to explain the concept and invite their participation.

The Rotary Club of Templestowe have for several years conducted an Anzac Day Service for Schools Program. The template for this project, together with a descriptive DVD, is available for clubs who wish to conduct Anzac Services for students. Please contact Keith Anderson (RC Templestowe) for more information about this project. Graham and his committee are available to present the Schools Anzac Day Service program to clubs.

Rotary clubs interested in setting up a Students Anzac Day Service in their municipality should initially contact PP Keith Anderson for further details.
