Inner Wheel

Inner Wheel has strong historic connections to Rotarians and Rotary clubs being founded in 1924 with membership open to women with a familial connection to Rotary.  The Objects of Inner Wheel are to:

  • Promote true friendship
  • Encourage the ideals of personal service
  • Foster international understanding

Inner Wheel is a prominent international women’s association linking together members in all parts of the world where Rotary exists including Europe, Asia, Africa, Australasia and the Americas.

Inner Wheel clubs support a number of projects both locally and internationally. The current Australian national project is to raise funds for Cord Blood Research. “Coin for a Cord Day”, held at the end of April each year, raises funds to support research into uses of cord blood.

Inner Wheel Australia is made up of 15 Districts and 165 Clubs. Rotary District 9810 has 3 Inner Wheel clubs within its boundaries and contact details for the 3 clubs are listed below.
